What people are saying about Viet Hoa Market Real feedback from customers who have visited us.
Viet Hoa Market is one of those hidden gems that quietly delivers way more than you expect. On the surface, it’s a solid Asian grocery store with a wide selection of fresh produce, frozen items, pantry staples, snacks, and specialty ingredients you don’t always find at big chain stores. The aisles are well stocked, prices are reasonable, and it’s easy to find everything you need for home cooking or experimenting with new recipes. What really sets this place apart, though, is the restaurant inside called Hot and Spicy. It’s a total bonus to be able to shop and then grab a hot, freshly made meal in the same stop. We ordered the fried rice, and it did not disappoint. The portion size was generous, the rice was perfectly cooked, and the flavor was bold, savory, and satisfying without being greasy. You can tell it’s made with care and real kitchen experience, not rushed, fast-food-style. Service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere felt casual and welcoming. Whether you’re stopping in to grocery shop, pick up a quick bite, or both, Viet Hoa Market is absolutely worth a visit. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended for locals
Friendly owner, find a lot of good Vietnamese groceries here. Thank you
Great Asian food store with rows and rows of authentic Asian foods, noodles, meats, sauces, pickled items and more! A very popular and busy restaurant (primarily takeout) at the back of the store Hot n Spicy. Food is very authentic and tasty.
It looks small on the outside but it's actually quite roomy inside. There's everything from the meats to veg. Not a huge selection of veg/fruit but enough. They had egg custard buns to treats. Found a new treat to try called Thanh long. They're really good.
We hadn't visited in a while. Many improvements in the store and in the restaurant area. Cleaner overall. We bought groceries and ate dinner in the restaurant. The wait staff, Annissa, was beyond friendly and courteous! Very pleasant and hard working. We enjoyed the papaya salad, chicken laab, and pad see ew. All very tasty! If you are on the fence about the level of spice, go down. Medium (2) was a bit spicier than what we considered medium. But oh so good!
This is a mini cultural vacation to an area like Chinatown in NYC or San Francisco. While I don’t appreciate many of the items sold here, they do have a get selection of things that we buy. It will take years to try all of the different brands of hoisin sauce.
